Submitted by gwynster on Mon, 2008-04-14 13:35.I am moving to Shanghai and I see from this site forum that there is a climbing wall there. I have all my own kit, obviously I will take my harness and shoes, but is it worth taking other kit like rope, quick draws etc.
I have tried to look at the web page of the centre itself, but as I don't yet read any Chinese I was a little lost!!

I'm a very lucky girl, as i've won a flight to china. I suspect i will be wanting to leave somewhere around mid August or September, for a good fourteen days (or more if i can aford it) But, i don't have anyone to go with, which is cool exsept climbing is more fun (and safer) if you have someone to belay... anyway, i have climbed E1 5b (english trad) and should be able to lead around that mark, althoug i can second much harder stuff (it's just...well, you know, the head game) I've got some gear and rope...
